Queen of Hoxton – Skye Halla

Bringing the ice cold cool of Scandinavian winter to the heart of London, Skye Halle at Queen of Hoxton is a Nordic Viking Feasting and Drinking Hall, way up in the clouds. The now famous Queen of Hoxton Winter Wigwam has a distinctly woodland feel with that quirky Nordic twist. Shield-Maiden Skye is at the heart of the action and in her own words we are all invited to ‘escape modern life and join her band of noble savages’ in a celebration of fantastic winter food and drink. Flowing mead runs all night, as well as unique foraged cocktails, burning log fires and decadent feasts. Imaginatively named cocktails include Blood of Loki and Skye’s Hot Buttered Rum. Food includes rich goulash pie, fresh salmon rosti and wintry hotpots and stews.

Some of the best winter cocktails around can be enjoyed at The Parlour, with updated classics like ginger mulled wine and hot spiced cider, as well as more imaginative offerings, updated regularly. Former favourites include hot butter and lavender rum punch and winter cobbler inspired tipples.
